Family Events

The Sexton Mountain PTC would love to see your family to get involved and participate in the many different activities and events available to your child. From enrichment programs like OBOB to fun extracurricular events like Family Bingo Night, SME activities help create opportunities for your child that go beyond the classroom.

Carnival Bowling 2024

Carnival

A family favorite, the carnival is held every spring. With over 20 "midway" games, bounce houses, face painting, delicious carnival treats and more, every member of the family will have fun! Kids can earn tickets at each of the games and redeem them for prizes. The carnival brings out the kid in all of us - and it's another great way family and friends come together to have fun and celebrate our SME community.

Field Day 1

Field Day

Field Day is one of everyone's favorite days of the school year! Field Day is our end-of-year celebration held every June. Mr. Miller, our fabulous PE teacher, coordinates numerous volunteer-led activities and events that kids rotate through for a fun day in the sun. With many activities like parachutes, obstacle courses, water games, and more, kids never get bored - and they get to enjoy a snack with their friends at the end of the action!

Bingo with Hayhurt square

Bingo Night

Come join the fun - Bingo night is an inexpensive night out for families! There are plenty of prizes to go around - for both kids and adults!

Walking School Bus

Walking School Bus

Every Thursday, Mr. Hayhurst, Ms. Martin, and parent volunteers walk kids to school. We meet at the Neighborhood Walmart parking lot and walk together as a group. Not only is this is a fun way to meet your neighbors, walking to school also encourages good health, activity, and responsibility!
